Purpose and acknowledgment
Emerald Electric LLC operates Emerald Invoice for authorized internal business use. The App supports customer and job administration, estimates, invoices, attachments and records of money already received. These Terms concern the App, not Emerald’s public website or a separate electrical-services agreement.
Authorized users will receive these Terms by email and will be asked to acknowledge them by reply. This process does not assert that an acknowledgment has already been obtained. Merely receiving an email or continuing to use the App is not treated here as an affirmative acknowledgment.
Authorized use and access
Russell Gardner is the sole approval authority for adding or removing Emerald business users. Use the App only for your approved Emerald responsibilities and within your assigned permissions. Requests to add or remove access should be directed to Russell through the support contact below.
Protect your account and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not share access with unauthorized people, bypass permissions, disrupt the App or use it unlawfully. Only provide records and files you are authorized to use for Emerald’s business. Do not store passwords, payment-card credentials or unrelated sensitive information in App records or attachments.
This permission covers internal business use. It is not restricted to the personal, non-commercial browsing described in separate website terms.
Business records and review
Review customer details, work descriptions, amounts, dates, invoice contents and received-money entries before relying on or sharing them. The App assists recordkeeping; it does not independently verify the underlying work, receipt of funds or accounting treatment.
An invoice number, saved draft or recorded payment does not itself establish that an invoice was delivered, funds were received or a record reached QuickBooks. Confirm outcomes using the saved status and supporting records. If a save or synchronization result is uncertain, check existing records before repeating the action or creating a replacement. Report unresolved discrepancies to support.
Connected services and payments
QuickBooks integration and the App’s Gmail sending integration are currently disabled. The initial QuickBooks implementation is designed for read-only company and deposit-account verification. Real invoice and received-payment synchronization is planned rather than operating. A separately authorized assistant’s email activity is not evidence that the App’s email integration is enabled.
Only an authorized company representative may approve a connection to the intended company. Intuit’s accounting authorization may be broader than the App’s initial functionality. Any expanded functionality requires its own implementation review, authorization and accurate notice before use.
The App does not process payments, charge payment cards or transfer funds. Recording money already received does not initiate a financial transaction. Third-party services have their own applicable terms, privacy practices and availability; these Terms do not accept a third-party agreement or grant account access on anyone’s behalf.
Records attachments and exports
Invoice and job records remain until the owner explicitly requests deletion, subject to applicable preservation requirements. Voiding a transaction is not deletion. Receipts and other invoice attachments are not automatically removed when an invoice is sent or paid; Russell removes App copies manually and keeps separate attachment records.
Removing an attachment removes its stored file and attachment entry, while retaining activity history and the related invoice or job. Saved invoice PDFs, exports, separately retained copies and historical logo files are not erased by that action.
Use available export functions within your permissions. Exports may omit attachment files or some historical activity and are not a guarantee of a complete backup. Contact support about access removal, record retrieval or deletion requests. Do not assume that ending access or disconnecting a service automatically deletes records or preserves continued access.
The separate Emerald Invoice Privacy Policy describes the App’s information handling and privacy contact. QuickBooks disconnection, if available, is separate from deletion of records in the App or QuickBooks. An unconfirmed revocation may require further action.
Electrical project agreements
Using the App, recording a request or preparing an estimate does not alone create or change an electrical-services contract. Scope, pricing, scheduling, payment terms, warranties and other project obligations remain governed by the applicable separately approved proposal, work order or agreement.
Materials and third-party rights
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Emerald’s or another party’s records, branding or materials. Handle those materials only as authorized for your business responsibilities. Third-party software and materials remain subject to their applicable rights and licenses. These Terms do not claim that Emerald owns all underlying software.
Availability and support
The App and its third-party services may experience interruptions or changes. Report access problems, suspected errors and security concerns to emeraldelectricaz@gmail.com. Russell Gardner is responsible for handling support requests. These Terms establish no response-time, uptime, backup-frequency or recovery guarantee.
Changes
Material changes will be provided to authorized users by email for acknowledgment by reply. The published date will be updated. An unanswered email or continued use alone is not treated as affirmative acknowledgment. This process does not require or represent an enabled App email integration.
